Features: auto compressor and pneuamtic arm and bucket control
The new long pneumatic cylinders where presented by LEGO in the 42043 set. At the same time, I was developing a new remote-controlled small valve system. It was obviously to combine these parts and new concepts in a small pneumatic model. The skid steer has an automatic pump which is engaged as soon one of the two PF servo motor for the pneumatic functions are switched on. This works via a PF switch which is mechanically linked to the two valves. Like this it was also possible to build a model with one SBrick and 5 separately controlled motors. The model has the following functions:
- Driving right wheels/tracks: 1 x PF M motor
- Driving left wheels/tracks: 1 x PF M motor
- Arm control: 1 x PF servo motor
- Bucket control: 1 x PF servo motor
- Pneumatic pump: 2 x PF M motor
- Control: 1 x SBrick
